Dr. Jennifer Hopper
Dr. Jennifer Hopper dreamed of being the next Jane Goodall. She spent two months in Africa to pursue this dream before deciding to enter the veterinary profession. She grew up in London and went to the University of Guelph where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. She then graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1999 and moved back to London where she has been working ever since. In 2013, she opened London North Animal Hospital. She also owned King Animal Clinic for 18 years. Dr. Hopper has served on the Board of Directors of the London Humane Society, the Committee for Animal Care in London and for the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. She continues to support PETA, The Jane Goodall Institute, WSPA, SARI, and The Independent Living Centre in London, Ontario.
Her furry daughter, Stella, comes to work with her every day and has a job as our Official Clinic Greeter. Dr. Hopper also has 3 sweet, angelic cat siblings: Faraday, Axis, and Ahzure. If they were in the Star Wars Universe, Faraday would be Princess Leia, Axis would be Darth Vader, and Ahzure would be Yoda! All 3 cats are sun worshipers and are currently plotting to take over the world.
In her spare time, Dr. Hopper meditates, does yoga, and enjoys hiking in the woods. She travels frequently for conferences and enjoys increasing her knowledge of veterinary medicine. Her favorite movie is Star Wars and enjoys listening to live music.

Stella is our official clinic greeter. She was born in Aylmer and raised in London, Ontario. She elected not to pursue a career in doggy obedience. Her lifelong dream is to catch those darn squirrels in the backyard, even though they are much larger than her. Stella’s personal achievements include: 1) making that large Bouvier cower in fear, 2) defending the clinic from that suspicious looking package that came through the front door, and 3) running from one end of the clinic to the other in less than 3 seconds. Her favorite movie is Beverley Hills Chihuahua.
